he seminar on “Low Costs Technology Solutions for Waste Management in Vietnam” was organized at National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE) under the cooperation between the Faculty of International Education of NUCE and RMIT University in Australia.
The seminar took place from 9.00 to 12.00 on Monday, April 22nd, 2019.
The joyful atmosphere of the seminar
The topics presented in the seminar are related to the solution of river or coastal waste collection (by RMIT students), treatment of domesticwaste by rotary drum, MBBR biofilter technologies or research on development of deodorant for breeding facilities, ensuring environmental hygiene (by the students from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering, NUCE). Attending the seminar were lecturers, students from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of NUCE and 6 students and staff from RMIT University in Australia .

The seminar ended in a joyful atmosphere. As a result, RMIT students have a clearer view and find the next direction for their project on waste management in Ha Long (Quang Ninh) and Nam Dinh province.
At the end of the seminar, RMIT students had the opportunity to visit the NUCE’s campus with NUCE’s students.
It is a good start for the academic and cultural collaboration activities between NUCE (Vietnam) and RMIT University in Australia, which are expected to take place in the near future.
